Painting Exhibitions
The exhibition of the well-known painter Theodoros Markellos at the Hellenic Council, Kolonaki Square 17, continues with particular success.
The exhibition, which will last until the 19th of the month, has the theme "Shipyards". Specifically, the artist states that:
"When I first went to a shipyard, I was so impressed by the color, the colossal dimensions of the installations and structures, the movement and the intensity of life in this space, that I felt an irresistible need to give expression to my emotions by working there. Indeed, for a very long period of time, I was given the opportunity and painted at the Greek Shipyards.
I present this work today with the ambition to convey to you the intense emotions I felt there.
Dimitris Nicolaïdis, the director of the work, succeeded in capturing the entire spirit that characterizes it and to permeate the work with the atmosphere of the space that weaves it. A very good performance.
that space so captivating and creative".
