About This Work
Open water edge to edge—cobalt deepening into turquoise, a faint silhouette anchoring the horizon, pale foam drawn across the swell.
The horizon sits high, dividing luminous sky from water that pulls the eye outward toward a faint silhouette in the distance. Cerulean and aquamarine carry the surface, deepened where shadows gather, while small touches of white lift the crests. Brushwork stays fluid, directional strokes following currents, and softer blurring softens the far edge into haze. Light falls evenly and clear, leaving few hard shadows, letting reflections settle quietly on the swell. Small in scale yet wide in feeling—the quiet holds like a long breath drawn over open water.
