Attic Landscape from Above, Olive Trees, with Sergoulopoulos
M2052
About This Work
Silver-green canopies spread across sun-baked earth. From up here, the whole valley opens up. The air feels so still.
There's a deep stillness to this land. See how we look down on the olive trees, their silvery tops catching the light in rhythmic rows that stretch toward the pale hills. The whole view feels so wide, so horizontal. The ground is all warm ochre and umber, and that heat pools into soft lavender in the shadows. The light is so even. It comes from high up, letting the terrain just breathe. The brushwork is quiet too—just enough to shape the canopies, before it thins to a soft haze in the distance. The air settles over the grove, holding the afternoon in place.
