Dusk, Attica towards Kapandriti
MK1034
About This Work
Violet deepens over Kapandriti as a last trace of orange holds along the Attic plain.
There's a deep quiet that settles over the land, a stillness that belongs only to this hour. The earth itself is just a low strip of ochre and dusty green, pulling our eyes gently toward a soft haze where the distant hills dissolve into the last light. The sky is painted so smoothly, all lavender and deep slate, just letting the atmosphere breathe. But closer in, you can feel the brushwork get thicker—catching on the dry ground, the low scrub. Dark shapes punctuate the ridgeline. The only light left comes from that fading glow, softening every edge and pulling shadows across the country. Dusk holds this place quiet, and time just slows.
