About This Work

Pale pink, lavender, a thread of deep crimson — wildflowers clustered just above center, their stems spreading loosely outward.

A quietness holds the whole arrangement, letting it breathe against the muted background. See how it sits just above the center, the stems and leaves drifting outward? The colors are so soft—pale pinks and lavenders wash against a touch of lemon yellow, with a hint of deep crimson in the fuller blooms. The paint feels light and almost translucent on the petals. But on the stems, you can feel the drier texture of the brush. A gentle, diffused light settles over them, leaving cool shadows just beneath the leaves. Quiet rests here, as though the morning has paused to look back.
