House-Mountains

About This Work
One small house, pale and sun-warmed, anchors the foreground as ridge upon ridge recedes into soft blue distance.
There’s a kind of peace in how this little house holds its ground. The land just unfolds from here, ridge after pale ridge rising into the distance. See how the warm, earthy tones of the walls feel so close? Then the mountains recede, their color cooling into lavender and soft blues that seem to breathe. The house is built from simple, solid strokes, but the land around it is all texture and looser color—the farthest peaks almost dissolve into haze. And the light is so gentle, spreading over everything without a single sharp shadow. It's that small human shape against all that stone. A held quiet settles over the valley, patient and unhurried, as if the hour had stopped to listen.
