Santorini, Last Houses, Sea

About This Work
Cobalt domes follow the cliff's edge at Santorini, white walls giving way to open sea.
There's a deep tranquility here, at the very edge of the island. The houses create their own rhythm, a line of white walls that pulls your eye along the cliff. Look at the light. It’s so unfiltered—it carves such clean shadows on the smooth stone. And then there's the color. That deep cobalt sea opens into the softest sky. You can almost feel the sun warming the shaded walls, just a hint of ochre there. Beyond that last blue dome, the horizon settles, and time itself seems to slow.
