About This Work
Fruit and vessels rise in a loose pyramid at center, anchored by a single deep red accent that draws the eye immediately.
Objects gather at the center in a loose pyramidal grouping, fruit and vessels arranged so the eye moves from the front edge back toward softly draped cloth. The palette holds to earthy tones and creams, with one or two saturated accents lifting the arrangement without breaking its quiet. Brushwork shifts to suit each surface—smoother for glass and ceramic, drier touches where fabric catches the light, thin glazes deepening the shadows. Light enters soft and diffused, laying gentle gradations rather than sharp contrast. Time settles here, and the afternoon rests on the table itself.
